Welcome To Concord E.L.C.

Concord ELC offers intensive English instruction for students who plan to attend American colleges and universities or for those whose objective is to learn English.

The Concord E.L.C Approach
The Concord program enables our students to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The Concord ELC system of English training prepares our students for the total American cultural experience.
TOEIC Test
Concord ELC is an official test site for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). Students at Concord ELC will have the opportunity to take the TOEIC every four weeks, year-round. Soon after taking the exam, students will receive an official score report from TOEIC. The official TOEIC score is accepted at many colleges, universities, and businesses as a measure of English proficiency.
Quality Education
Only the most experienced and educated faculty will be entrusted your instruction. Concord ELC teachers are certified and licensed by the State of California, and are highly experienced in teaching today's English. Their specialized training focuses on effectively instructing international students.
The Goal
  • To make you proficient in English
  • To prepare you for attendance at the best colleges and universities
  • To immerse you in the American culture
  • To help you achieve a better future
College Admission Without TOEFL
The TOEFL is not required for admission to Santa Monica College, Pasadena City College, Glendale College, Los Angeles City College, Los Angeles Trade Tech. College and West Los Angeles College if level 6 is completed at Concord ELC.
Conditional Letter of Acceptance From College

If you are academically qualified for college acceptance, but lack the required English proficiency, Concord ELC can obtain a Conditional Letter of Acceptance issued by Santa Monica College or Los Angeles City College.

It states that you have been accepted for admission once you complete the Concord ELC advanced level course. This letter shows the visa officer in your home country additional proof of your serious academic intent.
